Cineclub CIELO de Los Olivos y APRECI presentan Top 10 de clásicos de Sight & Sound

Desde este viernes 28 de setiembre, el Cineclub CIELO de la Municipalidad de Los Olivos y la Asociación Peruana de Prensa Cinematográfica (APRECI) presentan el ciclo “Las 10 mejores películas de todos los tiempos”, de acuerdo a la reciente encuesta aplicada por la prestigiosa revista de cine Sight & Sound a 846 expertos cinematográficos, entre críticos, programadores, académicos y distribuidores de 73 países.

La muestra comprende la lista de los 10 filmes más votados por los críticos encuestados por esta publicación británica, y que encabeza Vértigo de Alfred Hitchcock, seguido de títulos clásicos y emblemáticos como Ciudadano Kane de Orson Welles, Cuentos de Tokio de Yasujiro Ozu, La regla del juego de Jean Renoir, Amanecer de F. W. Murnau, 2001: Odisea del espacio de Stanley Kubrick, Más corazón que odio (The Searchers) de John Ford, El hombre de la cámara de Dziga Vertov, La pasión de Juana de Arco de Carl Theodor Dreyer, y 8 ½ de Federico Fellini.

En la edición 2012 de este ranking mundial, cabe destacar que la cinta de Hitchcock, a la que el propio director se refirió como su ‘cinta más personal’, destronó a “Ciudadano Kane” del reinado que por cinco décadas mantuvo la mítica opera prima de Welles como la mejor película de la historia del cine. Con un reparto que incluye a James Stewart y Kim Novak, “Vértigo” es considerada la obra maestra del director británico.

Sight & Sound lleva a cabo ese tipo de sondeo cada diez años desde 1952, convirtiéndose en un referente obligado para los cinéfilos del planeta y en el que se valoran las obras en función de su relevancia en la historia cinematográfica, sus hallazgos estéticos o el impacto que tuvo cada filme a nivel personal en base a su propia visión del cine.

Representando al Perú, este año participaron en esta votación los críticos Emilio Bustamante, Isaac León y Ricardo Bedoya. Asimismo, el realizador Josué Méndez votó en otra lista de la revista en la que 356 directores del mundo eligieron sus cien favoritas.

Todas las funciones empiezan a las 6.30 p.m., seguido de conversatorios a cargo de los miembros de la APRECI. Será en el auditorio del Centro de Innovación y Emprendimiento de Los Olivos (CIELO), Av. Universitaria 2202, con ingreso libre. Esta es la programación:
